This is why I love Nip/Tuck
Tonight on Nip/Tuck, in a moment of weekness, an important character whose wife just left him and whose father just threw him out and who is broke sets up a meth lab in his motel room, which promptly catches on fire. And what song plays over this tragic turn of events? Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart." I don't know if the credit for this goes to creator Ryan Murphy or to writer/director Brad Falchuk, or to music supervisor P.J. Bloom, but to whomever, it was truly inspired.
